Vis Center Documentary


	Immersive Digital Audio: Creating Spatial Perception Proper interview techniques—lighting the subject and background, framing the shot, getting good audio levels, white balancing, preparing the appropriate interview questions—are key in filming a solid interview.

This 30-minute documentary explores the work that Doctor Donohue at the UK Vis Center did in immersive digital audio.

During the pre-production of the documentary, I began with a question: what did I want the piece to say? Once I had the idea I wanted to convey, I gathered a sizable amount of footage (both interview footage and b-roll footage) before I began to flesh the idea out in a Final Cut timeline.
